A Peer Support Session
"No one should grieve alone."
Join us for an impactful session featuring two trained first aiders who are ready to share, guide, and hold space for your journey:
Sarah Kushairi (Grief First Aider)
Trained by Cruse Bereavement Support
Author, Lecturer & Pharmacist
Sharifah Nadirah (Mental Health First Aider)
Trained by Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA)
Author, Researcher & Optometrist
Session Highlights: What We Will Do Together
i) Welcome & Light Refreshments: As you arrive, settle in and comfort yourself with some light refreshments. You will also receive a special Welcome Gift as a small token of care from us to start the session.
ii) Support Circle (Led by MHFA & GFA facilitators): A safe, open space where we listen, and you share. There is no pressure, just a compassionate environment to voice whatever is on your mind.
iii) A "Dear Grief" Letter: We will engage in a powerful therapeutic exercise by writing a letter addressed directly to your grief. You can express how it makes you feel, how it has changed your life, or what you wish it would let you do. Writing this down helps process and articulate the heavy feelings you’ve been carrying.
iv) Takeaway Guide & Closing: Before we depart, Sarah (GFA) and Sharifah (MHFA) will share a practical takeaway guide. This will include gentle, daily emotional first aid tools and coping strategies to help support your mental health and wellness journey at home.
