Take a deep breath. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or scared about the future lately... please know that it is completely okay to feel this way. Fear is a natural part of being human, but you do not have to carry it all by yourself. You are not alone.

 

Even our favorite Disney princesses, from Rapunzel staring anxiously out of her tower to Elsa hiding away from the world, faced overwhelming fear before they found their courage. They remind us that being brave doesn't mean you aren't scared; it means moving forward anyway. 

 

But as believers, we have an even greater source of comfort to lean on. When our hearts tremble, we can turn to the beautiful, soothing words of the Quran to turn our fear into profound faith. 

 

This June, The SN Press invites you to a gentle, safe, and welcoming space. Together, we will embrace our vulnerabilities, talk about our fears, draw inspiration from princess stories of courage, and anchor our souls by reflecting on our favorite Quranic verses through the therapeutic art of journaling. 

 

No art skills or perfect faith required. Just come exactly as you are.

Welcome & Light Refreshments: As you arrive, settle in and comfort yourself with some light refreshments.

You will also receive a special Welcome Gift as a small token of care from us to start the session.

 

WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE:


Normalizing the Fear: A comforting chat on why it's okay to feel scared and how even storybook heroes face the unknown.

Heart Healing (Tadabbur): Finding verses of reassurance, peace, and hope in the Quran.

Creative Release: Using stickers, paper scraps, paints, and words to let go of anxiety on your journal pages.

• A Warm Community: Connecting with others who understand exactly what you're going through.

 

MATERIAL INFO & WHAT TO BRING:


Good news! All main journaling materials (papers, stickers, scraps, etc.) will be fully provided by us. 

 

You only need to bring:

1. Your favorite verse from the Quran that brings you peace when you are afraid.

2. Basics: Glue, scissors, and a pen.

3. Personal Touch: Any of your own favorite journaling items or tools that you'd love to use (optional!).

4. The name of a Disney princess whose story comforts you.
